 It turns out that sitting back and enjoying your meal instead of shoveling it down between getting home and putting the kids to bed may actually help you lose weight. Apparently eating over a longer period of time releases beneficial hormones that help us feel full. In so doing the actual amount of food ingested, and thus the caloric intake was actually reduced.
